BROOKSIDE GARDENS March 2012

There was a great turn out for the Spring 2012 Brides on the Bus tour which showcased all of the wonderful event venues Montgomery County Parks has available.  One of the most beautiful is Brookside Gardens in Silver Spring, Maryland.  We were very happy to learn The Prime Choice Caterers Perfect Ten Event was chosen to be showcased in their Ballroom area which has floor to ceiling windows with gorgeous views. 

Our theme for this year was Woodland Garden and we had our top Perfect Ten Events vendors there offering a sample of just a few of the wonderful things we can do to make your event over the top at a reasonable cost.

Our chef provided event guests with tantalizing tastes of some of our most popular items including passed Miniature Maryland Crabcakes and Spanikopita, carved Sirloin of Beef, Light Lemon Chicken, Tuscan Grilled Vegetable Medley,  Roasted Baby Red  Potatoes, and Parmesan Risotto.

David loves to make people happy! 

Brian Shepard, (to the right), owner of Excessive Beats DJ's, has all the equipment you could possibly think of. He understands how important your DJ is and loves working with clients to make sure events for whatever occassion are just the way you want them to go!

 You may recognize Clara from the Food Network competitions she has been in.  She is truly an artist who creates both beauty for your eyes as well as the best cake you will ever taste!  Lucky attendees got to sample a variety of just some of the yummy flavors Clara makes.

The Woodland themed cake she designed was awesome.

Flowers were all provided by Kelly Shore of Petals by the Shore - she is always a pleasure to work with and can create a beautiful atmosphere for your event!

 All of the awesome lighting was provided by DaVinci Florist and Lighting.

Mixology has become a sensation in the Washington metro area. They have a full bartending service as well as customizing drinks for your special occassion. They would be happy to work with you at your Perfect 10 event.

They even customized a drink for us at the show!

Allison & Andre's Wedding Part 1

Our daughter Allison, and her husband were married last June and what an adventure planning our own daughter's wedding!  Even after being a part of hundreds and hundreds of weddings and events being on the other side has given us even more insight and wisdom to help our brides.

 One of the things I had wanted to do from the start was create some unique personalized items.  Their colors were purple and lime green so of course that was the start when searching for the perfect products.  The place cards were made with some glittery purple cardstock giving them just the right amount of bling factor.

We found the already painted white tree at http://www.save-on-crafts.com  which is an awesome website for any do it yourself decorators.  They carry all kinds of lighting and other decorations and additons to make your event unique.  You can do gorgeous things with these trees which also come in a natural color.  Allison didn't want anything too extravagant so we simply added a monogram and some crystals found at A.C. Moore.  It was the perfect accent for the place card table and after that we moved it to the gift table.

Here are some other ideas for using these trees:

This wishing card tree is a very cool idea.  Guests fill out the Wishes for the Bridal Couple cards and tie them to the tree as they arrive.  Later they can be put in a book to read and remember your guests by. (As well as all the great wisdom!)

HAPPY PC FAMILY NEWS!

I know alot of you knew that our daughter was expecting and wanted to announce the arrival of Mia Arianna on March 10.  She was a week early and was discharged from the hospital at a tiny 6 lbs. 11 oz. 

David, Brian, and I are estatic!

CORPORATE EVENT - October 6, 2011

For the past several years we have helped several Euro Motor Cars locations with the introduction of their new vehicles.  On October 6 we were happy to coordinate the event for 400 guests at their Bethesda location as well as 200 guests at their Germantown dealership.
